The work of the African American Planning Commission (AAPCI) Inc., relies largely on the generosity of individuals like YOU. We welcome financial and in-kind contributions to support our on-going efforts to end homelessness, develop affordable housing, create economic independence for the less fortunate and assist families in need both in the United States and in Africa.
How do we spend your contributions? We invest your tax-exempt donations in developing supportive housing, creating job readiness/employment training programs, education programs, domestic violence prevention programs, child care programs, and youth development programs.
AAPCI receives some government funds for initial capital development efforts for new building construction, however, we rely entirely on individuals, corporations and foundations to fund all program implementation and ongoing operational support, both in the United States and especially in Africa. We ask for your support to help strengthen and sustain our efforts well into the future.
Contributions to the African American Planning Commission, a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, are deductible for computing income and estate taxes.
On behalf of those who rely upon our services, we thank you for your support. You will receive a receipt for your donation in the mail.
