Donations to the African American Planning Commission, a tax-exempt organization under Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, are deductible for computing income and estate taxes. To ensure receipt of your tax-credit, please make sure that all packages are clearly marked with your name and address and enclose a list of the items with their estimated values. You will receive a receipt for your contribution.

Scheduled Pick-Up: If you wish to donate furniture or other large items, please call us ahead of time so that we can schedule a pickup time that is convenient for both you and our organization. Unfortunately, we do not have the resources to pick-up items from out-of-state.

Your tax-deductible gift - in whatever amount you choose - will help provide emergency and other essential services.
